Founded On the Rock
When we face unsettling circumstances our response to them says much about our foundation, What have we built our lives upon, and will our foundation sustain us in times of trouble. Will we be able to stand strong when the flood of negative circumstances breaks against our lives? What do we need to do to not only survive, but thrive in times of worldwide distress and fear. The answer is found in the scriptures we just read. We must be founded on the Rock!
Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like 48: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
